  My favorite Chinese restaurant in Midtown!
  
  We've tried pretty much all of them around and Bomboo House is regularly referred to as "Ol' Faithful" in our home.
  
  We usually order for delivery and I'd say it is usually at our door within 25 minutes.
  
  The staff and delivery folks are also always extremely friendly.

  Rude Asian lady took my order refused to make it even though they made it before.
  I've paid an up charge prior.
  I have no problem paying an upcharge. No problem paying the delivery charge but I will not be disrespected on the phone by someone I'm trying to give money to. Rude service rude rude rude customer service should be of the utmost importance. We were polite courteous and regular customers. We will no longer be customers of this rude business but this is the first time that I have had this problem the other woman that answers the phone has always been sweet and polite that gentleman has always been sweet and polite today the Asian lady that answered with the rudest thing I've ever dealt with

  I've been eating at the Chinese spot for over 15 years when I lived on this side of town. It has never disappointed. It's inexpensive and consistently tastes good. I like their General Tso's Chicken and their Crab Rangoon. Food is always ready for pickup when I arrive. It's located in a strip mall with clothing stores, vacant spaces, and other eateries. The establishment's interior is a little shabby, but fine for takeout. This was my first time visiting again in several years and not much has changed. Staff is friendly.

  Here's the scoop! Sometimes I just crave Chinese food, and I mean crave. So when I find a good Chinese spot I keep it in my memory banks and Bamboo House it one of those places.  I first tried it because it is close to my friends house and we ordered it one evening.  And boy was I pleasantly surprised.  It was even better than the place that is close to my house.  
  
  It is what you expect from a Chinese take away place.  Most of their business is carry out, they do have a dining room if you want to eat in.  The portions are large, the food is good.  So if you get one of those cravings you may want to try it out.

  I've lived in broad ripple for ten years now and always come back to bamboo house. Great food, always hot when it arrives and the order is always right. Worth it!
